Mid-Century Modern Ranch
Casa Blanca (White House) was the transformation of a typical Florida ranch style block house into an open concept home inspired by Mid-century modern and Scandinavian designs. The clients requested white walls to feature their collection of large format artwork and eclectic furnishings.
To create an open concept the ceiling is vaulted to add height, and a brick wall is replaced with a load bearing beam to connect the living and dining spaces. 60s furniture, leather and lucite coexist together throughout.
The kitchen cabinetry is from Poggenpohl. The upper cabinets are designed with glass and stainless steel fronts for a lighter look. Ann Sacks
